Hi, I'd agree with the majority here on the on the first action: Merge the GSoC work first, and release that. To do anything else might just make that work harder to merge in the future which would be a waste.
After that, open the floor to votes on plans, then publish a strategy for the next releases, preferably where people can commit to actually doing things rather than simply agreeing which is the best way forward. And yes, we should prioritise based on user votes. If not then we ought to remove the voting system altogether.
