"Move directly to Eclipse RCP...."

You make it sound so simple ;-)

For now I think it's obvious that we need to get the required student
code into trunk as soon as possible.

Apart from that I still think we're too early for votes. Where are the
plans we are to vote for?

Lets wait till we have a release out, GSOC work merged and then some
ideas up on the wiki (which will hopefully be there by then).
