Hi !

I would like to introduce myself first : I'm a French student in a computer
engineering school in Bordeaux; thus I apologize for my English speaking :)

I use frequently ArgoUML and noticed that the French translation was not
complete. I would like to help for the translation.

I've searched in the developer zone some informations about how I can help
but I couldn't find them. When I went on the
http://argouml-fr.tigris.org/page, I was really surprised to find user
help and not French developers
tasks, as on the German page (I speak German too). I think there is no way
for a user to find this page, because the general ArgoUML page doesn't
mention these pages (it mentions it but far from the top of the page and I
never thought to go down so far ! As a user, I can tell that users think
that there is no French user page, that we need to be good in English to use
ArgoUML), it only shows English documentation.

I propose this solution :

   -

If we want to keep French translation of the home page, we have to make
it findable on the start page, that is to say : a French flag to indicate
that we can access a French translation of the English page, or the user
find directly the French page because his browser is configured to “speak”
French; this French page would be linked to a French wiki, a French manual,
a French FAQ, a French page of download...
   -

We need to have a page for each language localization to explain how to
contribute to the translation, and how much has been already done and what
needs to be done and how. This page would be accessed from the developer
   zone.

I took the French example but you can replace the word “French” by the
localization that you want of course :D

Hope I can help
