I think it's like this. There was a day in the distant past that Florida
orange-growers started an advertising promotion. You may remember it
because it absolutely changed the way Americans viewed/used orange juice.
The tagline was:

"Orange Juice. It's not just for breakfast anymore."

Well... Avalon is just about the framework anymore. And while the
Avalon-for-breakfast people might feel disenfranchised (though I don't know
why), there's going be many, many, many more people enjoying Avalon. If you
still want Avalon just at breakfast, then that's certainly a valid (and
traditional) way to enjoy your Avalon. But, Avalon isn't just for breakfast
anymore. It's really not just about the framework anymore. Enjoy the
framework. Use the framework. The framework is/was a great legacy and a
necessary foundation that makes the future possible, but the future of
Avalon is not just about the framework anymore. The future is about building
a new generation of containers (town cars, sports cars, luxury cars) in
which component interoperability (among other things) is a reality. One of
the first steps along that road is the emotional adjustment that the
framework is a member of a team and no longer just an individual attraction.
