I don't mind the change to include more than just the framework (or more
than just breakfast in your example). My concern is that the new site sends
this message:

"Avalon. It's not just the framework anymore. In fact, you can't even find
the framework anymore. And if you do, we'll yell at you."

That is, our "Orange Juice" site doesn't even have a breakfast section. It
as if we're trying to hide the fact that breakfast exists.

I may be an Avalon developer, but I'm also an Avalon user and I'm trying to
explain these things from a user perspective. The feelings I get from the
responses here on the mailing list can be summarized as:

"Bad user! Bad user! Don't use the framework. In fact, there is no
framework. There never was a framework. Now, let's take you over to the
correctional facility and we'll re-educate you on the proper use of our
product."

We are disenfranchising a large section of our *current* user base by simply
removing all reference to the framework as a standalone library. That
section includes me. So please understand if I personally feel
disenfranchised.
