I have already stated that if the guys want me on board then I'd be
happy to oblige.

I Board has *not* said that I cannot sit on a project PMC. I fact -
let's be specific here.  Greg with Chair Hat in place has said that the
collective opinion of the board was "significant reservations".  As I
pointed out on the community list (yesterday?), "significant
reservations" is not the same as "inability".
