There is one FAQ in particular that attempts to lay out the entire process. I'm not sure if it will help, but wanted you to know it was there, just in case it can. I have not yet tried with PuTTY, so those instructions are still missing from the FAQs, but Louis added notes just after Willy succeeded, so hopefully the notes catch most things. We might mention the cursor behaviour better, so that it is expected. Once you have a terminal connection, the instructions should be close to the same. If there are differences, we should note those too.
