Yes, IIRC correctly the reason for the german-Mac-builder/porter to only provide a german version is that he has a 10.3 system and thus the resulting binaries require MacOSX 10.3 or higher and not 10.2... But I maybe wrong and the only reason was lack of time/interest :-))
Yes, you're right, and in fact, we have decided with Eric Bachard that he will focus on 2.0 when it was 1.1.4 time, so he didn't compile it. I'm not sure also that Eric Hoch and Eric Bachard was really coordinating their work as they do it now. But, Eric B will try to deliver 1.1.5 French release (and German and English if needed) . Actually, we found 1.1.3 good enough for daily use and French Mac users didn't complain :)
