Oh darn, that is too brief an answer to that question. The engine supports it, when used as an embedded engine in a Base file however it is not directly supported. Using code to wrap around your database solution one can take advantage of it again, but given this it most likely would be more of an advanced subject.
This support is a planned, maybe, feature for 3.x...so that is a good 12 months off still.
