Well, I don't know of a good hub yet that has the right balance between
simplicity and still listing the most important sources of information. If
you have one ready of course, I'm happy to point to that page... it is not
I wish I had...

Yes, that is a danger. I will try to use them sparingly.
Currently, this is organized by information/support type. Another
route we could go is to lead users by problem type.
1. I have a problem with using OOo
2. My problem is with writer
3. I have a problem printing
Et voila, (s)he would be presented with resources on that topic (FAQs,
Tutorials, etc). This would require considerable effort in categorizing
the information, though. And this hasn't happened yet.
