Hi Stephen,

Hi,

Apologies for keeping asking, but is there anything else the language
communities need to do to ensure a release for version 2.3? So far with
Kinyarwanda we completed QA testing by 21st August and submitted
changes to the localization via an issue.

By now you should be able to see if the changes have been targeted to 2.3 or to next release 2.4.

Anyhow, if you think they were no show stoppers and you want to go ahead and release the version the next steps are:

- Perform sanity check testing on Release candidate builds (sanity check scenario is available on TCM)
If the quality is ok - no show stoppers

- Enter the QA track tool at: http://qatrack.services.openoffice.org to approve the builds that will be distributed. http://qatrack.services.openoffice.org/view.php is used to track the QA status of OpenOffice.org builds that are planned to be distributed.

- Approve the builds that will be distributed

- Communicate the distribution request by filing an issue. Please use http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=79189 as a template for filing such an issue.

Hope that helps.

Rafaella

Is that all?

Also what is the timetable for the release at present?

Cheers,
Steve.
