Thanks for the advice, and apologies for replying to a different thread, I didn't realise that was a problem. So according to QATrack, Kinyarwanda candidates have been build for MacOS X PPC and MacOS X Intel. Are there no other builds yet? Unfortunately I don't have access to a Mac here - is this likely to be a show stopper for the whole release or just for the Mac builds?
There are (at least) three different providers for localized OpenOffice.org builds.
1. The main OpenOffice.org servers [1]: once the localization CWS has been integrated into the main code line, your translation should show up in these lists.
2. Pavel Janik builds [2] regularly for a long list of languages. If you email Pavel ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with the link to your translation file, he will build it in his next build cycle (I can't find the blog post where he talks about how he does that, so I'm not sure if he needs you do to anything else: please ask). He will also reload from that address each time he builds, so you can update your translation and get dynamic feedback. Pavel's builds are a key localization resource.
3. Nakata Maho builds [3] for Mac OSX, as you may have noticed. This is lucky for me, as I use a Mac OSX Intel machine, and my platform is not covered by either 1 or 2. (Pavel does build for OSX PPC.)
If you join the Releases ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) list, you get notified of new builds, and you can register to be notifed personally by email.
I hope this helps make some sense of the situation. :)from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do)
