I'm working on some quite fundamental changes to the menubar
generation (migrating from XSP to static XML), and really leveraging
the benefits without cluttering the sitemaps with selectors would
require to break backwards compatibility. Updating wouldn't be much
difficult for users, though. I'm also not quite sure yet if all of the
changes make sense, so I don't want to commit them to the stable branch.

Makes sense. Should we maybe come up with a roadmap of what we want to
do in 2.1? That way we'll know when 2.1 is done.
