Hi,
as you may now OOo plans to distribute dictionaries as extensions
beginning with OOo 3.0.
The plan is that providers of dictionaries will be able to provide their
dictionaries as an extension
(<http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Extension_Dictionaries>). The
plan is to preinstall a defined set of those dictionaries as extension
with a localized build
(<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=81365>).
This is the call to all maintainers of dictionaries to provide their
dictionaries as an extension and to distribute them via
extensions.services.openoffice.org. With this mechanism the maintainer
of the dictionaries will be able to distribute their dictionaries
independently of the Ooo schedules,
