Hi Martin

This is the call to all maintainers of dictionaries to provide their dictionaries as an extension and to distribute them via extensions.services.openoffice.org. With this mechanism the maintainer of the dictionaries will be able to distribute their dictionaries independently of the Ooo schedules,
thanks for the reminder
I planned to write a script (python) that built the new extensions from the existing zip files
no time until now, but hope next week end
any deadline ?

As far as I know about this from Martin it should be sufficient if the
dictionaries be available at the end of this month or early next month.
If that will be a problem you may want to contact Martin directly to get
his opinion about deadlines.

It would be great to have as much dictionaries available as possible with the release of OOo 3.0 beta end of April/begin of May. If dictionaries should come with the installation set as preinstalled extension we should them have available this week (April 17th) so that we can do the integration work in the last week.

Up to now I got no pointer to any dictionary provided now as extension, this would mean that we will go into BEta release without the ability to test this great new feature ?!
