yes... although only on 4.5 so will have to use something other than cfsavecontent. but that might work.
also, disabling any blank fields didn't work. one thing is that the form doesn't necessarily have any file fields in it, but the enctype is still set to allow them. this i think is causing the problem, as removing the enctype allows the form to be submitted. i think i'll have to check if my list of fieldnames contains a file field, then decide if i need to set the enctype or not. failing that i'll go with this method 1. ta Duncan Cumming IT Manager http://www.alienationdesign.co.uk mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel: 0141 575 9700 Fax: 0141 575 9600 Creative solutions in a technical world ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Get your domain names online from: http://www.alienationdomains.co.uk Reseller options available! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rich Wild <[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> go.com> cc: Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] IE Mac form problem 22/08/2003 10:55 Please respond to dev you could do 1 if you did this: <cfset filefields = ""> <cfoutput query="getFields"> <cfswitch expression="#getFields.Fieldtype#"> <cfcase value="Text"> text field </cfcase> <cfcase value="File"> <cfsavecontent variable="thisfield"> Your file field code. </cfsavecontent> <cfset filefields = filefields & thisfield> </cfcase> etc </cfswitch> </cfoutput> <cfif len(filefields)> <cfoutput>#filefields#</cfoutput> </cfif> > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 22 August 2003 10:52 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] IE Mac form problem > > > > can't do 1.
