Yeah .. I agree it doesn't seem to have the WYSIWYG stuff .. but then again I prefer a pure code view (I just like to have the function / tag insight for faster coding) and if I can use eclipse for my Perl / PHP / C# coding aswell all-in-one it would be fantastic !
Just loading it up now to take a look :) Stephen -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Moretti [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 02 April 2004 11:24 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [ cf-dev ] Eclipse CF project >There are also literally 100s of plugins of varying quality many of which >are open source. Is there a site with an xml feed for the software update wotsit in 3.0M8? Does eclipse do a simple check in/check out type thing similar to DW? Is there a way to set up a site like you do in DW? I've seen the project thingy, but it only does a fraction of the site function in DW. I like the look of Eclipse and have been edging towards open source software of late, but a bit confused as to how eclipse can replace dwmx. I can see that it can easily replace Studio/Homesite, but doesn't appear to do all the wysiwyg html stuff....
