In fact, I would like to know if there is any way to track that report. There are some folks on different forums/launchpad etc. that report that they could fix this issue by using Nvidia's installer, rather than using the drivers from distribution repositories. If that is true, and if Nvidia is using their driver installer, they may not be able to reproduce this. Can anyone try reinstalling the driver with Nvidia installer? I am not an expert when it comes to display driver installation. So I am reluctant on touching what's working on my machine.
