Couple of items that I am working on that I would like to see in 6.0: SOLR-5944: Updatable DocValues in Solr SOLR-8396: Using Dimensional values in Solr
The first one needs some more tests, maybe some refactoring and reviews. The second one requires some dev work, it is at a very early stage. I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) we should have dimensional fields in for Solr 6.0 since the regular numeric fields are now deprecated and dimensional fields are the way forward.
