What do people think the mission or ethos of SpreadOpenOffice.org should be? OpenOffice.org is unique from Firefox in several ways:

--Bigger user investment in time to download and getting accustomed to
--More mature audience (information worker/small office/enterprise vs. home user)

Other thoughts? Let's think about and discuss this.

As you are aware, it has been discussed very recently on discuss@, see:

The general consensus or feedback that I am receiving is that we are doing it already and or a copycat campaign will not be successfully replicated.

Conducting and calling any new OOo promotion with a similar name to that
of the Firefox campaign I think will be detrimental. Those people who
are new or somewhat familiar with Firefox having responded to the
get/spread Firefox campaign and who may not know enough about OOo, will
be very disappointed for the reasons discussed in the discuss@ thread
and that you have outlined here.

So what do you see as the strategy for promoting OOo 2.0? If an SFX style campaign won't work, what will?
