Your discussion, although interesting from a theoretical point of view,
is hence more suited to lists such as [email protected] .
I would think that the promotion of OpenDocument would be relevant to
the marketing of OpenOffice.org. I know that at least the KOffice people
feel that it's relevant to their marketing work.
