I was actually pricing that last week because there's a place nearby me
to make custom postage stamps.  However, stickers would be cheaper and
have more and varied uses.  Further, the stamps are expensive and tie up
a lot of cash until they get used.

You have an eye for icons and such.  Stickers are basically icons.  If
one takes into account that there is a world of difference between print
media (matte, glossy) and screen media (lcd, crt, projector) something
sharp looking and vaguely stamp-like could be made.

I'd say drop the idea of stamps but go forward in designing stickers of
the approximately same dimensions.  They'd be great to hand out as full,
half, or quarter sheets at conferences or trade shows.
