I didn't add the item to the wiki by now, because the thread here on the
list was quite negative [1], while discussion on the phone conference
was much more positive [2].
If this idea should work, we would need contacts in several countries as
well as the approval by Sun/Oracle to use the new OOo logo for that purpose.
I can't attend OOoCon, so someone else would need to step in and do the
work (including the financial side) there.
Only if we can meet all these preconditions, we could ask for a
financial advance by the budget holders.
