Being able to build all Maven 2+ kinds of projects using Maven 5+ would
be cool. It's not a must have in my opinion. If this would degrade the
possibilities of Maven 5+, I'd say it's worth giving up on it.
I've been working on an improvement of modello which makes it possible to
read a file once, being able to detect the version and verify if all
elements and values indeed match that version. Once we want to start on
the multi-version support I should have a look at it again and apply it.
