+1 for being cautious about new committers. -1 for the method proposed. I have no objection to 2 or 3 committers to the *incubator* project. That does not affect MyFaces and the Oracle guys will need it to do all of the refactoring they have promised. If the massive refactoring effort really does happen and the donation attracts serious interest from people outside of Oracle, then +1 for adding the whole lot of them as committers to MyFaces when it leaves incubation. I am, however, skeptical this will happen. So for this reason I favor the incubator. > -Ted. sean
