It is not official yet, but as it seems the sun guys are moving towards dojo as well, there are lots of indications.
aha, so we need to follow their way ? :)
Which means for future versions of tomahawk and the studio creator this can become problematic, there are maybe version clashes which i cannot resolve from my side, except for trying always to stay on the stable side.
so, it is only a studio creator thing? (I don't use it, so I don't care, to be honest)
But worse problem is that Sun will use different resource loading mechanisms regarding dojo than what we use, so we will get double imports by mixing both.
there is no real standard way of doing that. weblets may be interesting for us.
This is not a problem for now, but it will be a problem for studio creator 3 :-) I have not contacted Sun yet regarding this officially, but I will, I want this covered upfront, before any issues arise, but as I said not a problem for now...
:)
Since all our dojo code is routed through a tools class, I can add hooks to disable our dojo resource loading except for the requires (which for now is probably the best thing to do, until the situation is clearer)
so, what about all those other fancy IDEs. How will create hooks for them? -Matthias
As I side not a pressing problem, but an intermediate problem.
