Okay, let's compromise and say "every 2 weeks". Sounds good?

That means that the first conf doesn't have to be *this* week. We can talk
about this with calm, and make the first conf *next* week, over the
weekend.

Sure. That sounds great. Thanks!

+1

I guess we need speakers. Okay, I'm in, Ian is in, Alexandro in in. Do
you think you can give a short 10-20min talk 6 weeks from now?

Let's try to get a tentative schedule.

Speaker 1: Daniel Carrera -- INREACH, Building an active community.
            March 4-6 (weekend)
Speaker 2: Ian Lynch -- INGOTs, Learning through Participation
            March 18-20 (weekend)
 Speaker 3: Alexandro Colorado -- ???
            Apr 01--3
 Speaker 4: Sophie Gautier -- ???
            Apr 15-17

What do you say?

Your talk would coincide with OOo 2.0 being just released, or about to be
released. So this would be a great time to, for example, give a talk about
the history of OOo. "OOo: present, past and future". I think that would
be a very timely presentation.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
