The bit I was trying to get out of was the 72hrs bit. If I hadn't suggested a sanity check post off-list with Reema in our discussion about the installers, they'd already be up. All binaries need to be correctly signed, correct checksums, in the right place, and built off the release sources. That seems to be a yes or no answer - a verification not a decision. Which was my thinking on having a few PMC members actively check because we could do it in an hour. If we go for 72hrs, then we should probably just have a full vote thread.
