If Jaroslav, Svata, and Toni will take ownership of and be responsible for ALL items that relate to handling JDK 8 related incompatibilities and any other issues connected to this, then we may be able to solve this problem.
I perceive little faith in that this will be done, since this has thus far not been done -- and various other core contributors have picked up these tasks so far. Could we assign any tasks of this kinds to Svata, for example, i.e., Svata, would you be the owner of these tasks?
