One thing I recently learned (as per an email from Bertrand, I think, and please correct me if I'm wrong) is that an appropriate license is not good enough for code to be included in an Apache project.

You also need IP Clearance, so signing a donation document from the authors is also required, and it's an important way to protect the ASF and us all.

Is this right?
