There free and open implementations of Java? I think Blackdown Java and one
from IBM? What does Debian use (they are very particular that everything is
open source). I believe it is only Swing that is not available under an
acceptable open source license. I learnt to code in Java and the only issues I
have is that it can run slowly and makes it difficult to associate a program
with a file type. Both of these issues are holding back my organisations
adoption of Gantt Project.
