I came across oopm while I was looking for a tool to work on my own project
(business startup project). I was using Ooo on linux, and felt the lack of
integrated mail client+project management tool.
Ooo being really great, I believe close integration of a PM tool would
provide a really powerfull suite.
Also I have used free software a lot (and developped as well), and I like to
follow interesting projects.
Finally I believe that business desktop apps for free software (e.g.
linux...) are the key to finally kicking M$ out of here ;O)

Ability to handle "fuzzy" tasks, something like the ToDos that were just
suggested, that you have to do, but cannot really stick anywhere defined in
a plan.
A combination of this, plus a calendar for appointments/time planning, and
the usual stuff would be great for me.
Some kind of "attachments" to tasks (or to the project), so you can link
files, todos, meetings, emails... with tasks. Some kind of cost evaluation
could come out of it in the future. At the beginning, it could help finding
"that important email someone sent about the delay on task #237", etc...
Data exchange with groupware for shared agendas...
All this is not very clear, sorry.

Specifying, coding, debugging (at least on small parts, my coding times are
quite far away now). Giving silly ideas...

1- Put together a (very) simple first version to which improvements can be
added. I believe open source developpers often work on a software because
they find something itchy is missing in it.
Is anyone leading something like this ?
This would help in gathering a few coders/users... And write pieces of code
to be reused later.
2- In parallel, writing specifications for a future version of the software.
This could be the aim of a revamping of the code, using bits from the first
version.

Using and developping some software, a little usage of PM tools (M$ Project,
quite limited to basic functions though).
