That's what bear and I have been trying to do. But you missed the part
about this being an interrupt-prone job, so it limits what you can do
rest of the day.

When I am really working as a sheriff, I can't program much because by
the time I get back into the code there is soon another new
interruption. I can read and respond to email fine, read documentation,
write some documentation and so on.

I don't think it's too much to ask to do this one day per month.
