That's what bear and I have been trying to do. But you missed the part
about this being an interrupt-prone job, so it limits what you can do
rest of the day.
When I am really working as a sheriff, I can't program much because by
the time I get back into the code there is soon another new
interruption. I can read and respond to email fine, read documentation,
write some documentation and so on.
I don't think it's too much to ask to do this one day per month.
Given where this conversation is heading and the tone of it, I'm ready to go
on record as saying that I'm declining the offer. The January 3rd sheriff slot
is available again.
