I just added another version combining the left logo with the toolbox icon.
I'm still in favour of the left one.
If we go down the route that the box is synonym for dropbox we could well
question the name PDFBox as one could consider that to be an online storage for
PDF files. As Andreas already mentioned there are many boxes. And a box as a
visual has a benefit over a toolbox as it's more generic. IMHO we should not
only think about PDFBox today but also PDFBox tomorrow. A box could potentially
include everything a toolbox is always tools centric. And from a design
perpective although we use a box there are enough elements which make it stand
out. And yes I do understand that a box is not as 'outstanding' as the toolbox.
Visually I don't think that the version combining the left version with the
toolbox really works. For me it's either the left version or back to the
drawing board.
