What I like in the proposal of Jeremias (002) is that 'PDF' is bold and 'box'
regular whereas in 001 it was the other way around but I think the importance
should be on 'PDF'. Now with the 003 proposal: if there is consensus that there
is no real danger confusing the left box with other logos this is fine with me.
While the left box is more a symbol for a complete 'out-of-the-box' product
which can be run directly as an application, the right toolbox depicts more the
use-case as a library (tool).
Thus as Maruan said: it depends on what PDFBox will be in the future in order
to say which logo is best suited.
