ramkrishna.s.vasudevan commented on PHOENIX-1453:
-------------------------------------------------

bq.it'd be useful to expand this to be parallel to the guideposts array
So for doing this we just divide the byteCount and rowCount with the number of
guidePosts?

So suppose number of rows is 100 in a region and the number of guidePosts
collected is 10, so we would say 10 as the row Count in every guidePost info
array?

> We currently collect guideposts per equal chunk, but we should also capture
> row counts. Should we have a parallel array with the guideposts that count
> rows per guidepost, or is it enough to have a per region count?
