Dear Sophie,

I think the reason why OOo 2 is not on the table at NeoOffice until
probably the end of the year was made obvious by yesterday's other
thread about capitals not working: it is not stable and feature
complete enough yet to use a base. We are aiming at Mac end users, who
are notoriously averse to tinkering.

On referring toOpenOffice, there were several references in the
announcement, though none to people here specifically. Again, this is
done on purpose, because we do not want end users to flood this list -
they will not have any use for it and you do not want to spend all
your time answering questions. Other support options are noted in the
readme that comes with the application.

This does not mean the people at Trinity do not seriously applaud (and
follow) your efforts here. It is also the reason why I congratulated
everyone here before the announcement. Others and myself have writen
extensively on this issue and I do not widh to repeat and acrimonious
discussion. Suffice to consider yourself and your work appreciated,
always.

As for support in NL, I live in Utrecht and feel free to drop me a
message or stop by and I will gladly help you with Neo/J troubles.

Best wishes,
 Oscar
