Indeed. But that is not our fault. When 1.1.4 was released Eric B
announced the availability of RC for it. We had en, de and fr
builds. In the end only the german nativ lang project did a QA and
released an official 1.1.4 for Mac OS X. All other lang projects
didn't do QA and so there is no official build available. Since
neither Eric B nor I had Jaguar those releases were Panther only
and still exist. QA can beginn any time soon. Ask Eric B. for the
url were RC 1.1.4 can be downloaded from.

For Jaguar Terry Teague could help. Afaik he has 1.1.x builds for
Jaguar. I don't know which versions but he reads this list and we
may ask him.

For Tiger the situation is different. Here we have builds working
but lacking some functionality - that is how I understand Eric
Bachard. Please ask him for details I don't want to write bogus
here.

Right. At least the international ones. In Germany the 1.1.4 is
widely spread.

Yes. It went on step by step but sorry we X11 cannot do everything
ourself and if nobody feels responsible for QA there is no official
build. O.K. The only fault we made and I can think of is that we
perhaps didn't notify trinity forums about the availability of a
1.1.x RC.

There is no technical reason and we have working 1.1.4 packages for
Panther. I only don't want to release them without QA. I therefore
invite everyone to do testing for 1.1.4 builds so that they can be
made available via the international download page.

The only handicap I see is that we may need to offer three
different versions:

One for Panther - available but no QA done
One for Jaguar - ask Terry Teague if he has one and do QA for this
too.
One for Tiger - available but buggy and newer builds break. Here
James McKenzie is on a good way in hopefully solving them.

Eric Hoch
