Hi Tino,

Correct, either we treat this at runtime (dynamically loading the function on Mac OS X >=10.3) or we just use the fallback 'en' in case non ISO identifiers will be will be detected.

I have asked on forum if a solution/clean workaround for CFLocaleCreateCanonicalLocaleIdentifierFromString replacement in 10.2 does exist. Sure a lot of applications Jaguar and Panther compatible should have this fix inside.

The question is how many users are still using 10.2 and is this number big enought to justify effort.

10.2 port is not urgent, this is experimental build. Waiting, I have no idea about how many Jaguar's Users are neither.

As we all know the resources for the Mac
OS X port are very limited already so that we should concentrate and set the right priorities.

Yes, sure : the launcher.

We can lower the priority issue. As soon as we find a solution, then we will fix it.

IMHO, of course :-)

Kind regards,
eric bachard
