it is not the point here as I see it, that we need to make sure that OOo works on several Mac OS X versions (at least on the two newest). It does not stand for debate. What's this discussion is about is to focus on one version, just like commercial programs today might focus on WinXP but along the way try to get it running on Win2000 and Win98 but with lower priorities and lesser quality assurance, than is used for their main target platform: WinXP. ->Of course we will try to support the full Mac OS X bandwidth (all 3 versions up till now), but only one of them can get the main focus.
If it is a solid fact that everything running on Panther also runs on Tiger, and because there are many developers here still running on Panther, then I agree that the baseline should be Panther. But don't count on me downgrading to Panther, my system came with Tiger and I will continue to run on Tiger. 2005/9/19, Johan Henselmans <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > [...] > It is always a fair decision to try to get a program to run on as > many versions of an OS as possible.
