I certainly concur with the sentiments that Alan expresses. The design
policy shold be that this product does not make decisions for the user.

I mirror Mac OOo & NeoOffice inside Sun, and had to remove the two calls to
fondu in the RC3 launcher applescript. Sun employees need to use the same
fonts as other Star Office users, so automatically converting of Mac fonts
into the OOo truetype fonts folder is intrusive and unwanted.
Such unexpected behind the scenes conversions should ONLY be done with the
user's permission!
