The automatic font conversion that OOo 2.0 RC3 does in its

No.
YES, it is.
The use of native fonts with *OpenOffice.org2.0* is a good idea.
yes, it is a good idea but we should have the choice...
To follow your request, I think a better solution should be to ask
the end user, only one time and at first start. Something like add
a checkbox at first start. It may even be possible with Applescript.
Here is just an example...
-------------------- Applescript
---------------------------------------------------------
-- if no file .fondudone or .dontwantfondu in share/fonts/truetype
-- then
display dialog "Import OSX Font ? " buttons {"Never", "Not Now",
"Yes"} default button "Yes"
set theResult to the button returned of the result
if theResult is "Yes" then
-- Impot the font...
-- touch file .fondudone in share/fonts/truetype
--• display dialog "Yes"
else if theResult is "Never" then
-- touch file .dontwantfondu in share/fonts/truetype
--• display dialog "Never"
end if
-- end if
-------------------- Applescript
---------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for the great work !
Regards,
gpiroux
