And (I shall repeat myself here) is there an automated method to test builds on
Mac OS X? If not, each language will have to be smoketested manually and the
Smoketest suite is very inadequate. There are a few tests for Calc and none that
I know of for Base. These issues need to be addressed.
As I don't hav a mac .. I cannot confirm that it really works, but
german (as well as english) builds have been tested with the test tool.
So .. yes, tests can be automated.
Not only this, but the error found (for instance) in functionality for Finnish may also
exist in English-US or German. If an error/problem is found, this needs to be addressed
and either fixed or a workaround found.
This is the usual process with issues. So .. file an issue if you find
errors. Check if they only exist in a given localization. If you think,
the issue is release critical, raise it here or at [EMAIL PROTECTED] as stopper.
And .. this is why we all should start testing as soon as possisble ..
to find stoppers.
