HI,

A question is what do users of the 30 language versions of OOo do.
Do they abandon to use OOo? Maybe, no. They know the URL to the hidden
web sites and download their version and use 2.1. Don't you think so?
Yes - in most cases people will download thoses files. But we have no
knowledge about:
- when (or if at all)
- how they use OOo
- if they find problems
- if they report problems to OOo once they find some
Regardless of whether approved or not, some, or maybe many, users have
been using the latest OOo. That is a reality, i think.
But we do not know about their experiences.
Please do not be confused. Release test is very important. All matured
native language individual projects have to conduct release test on
RCs to maintain the quality of releasing OOo.
Why? Why should some test but others get release, without testing?
Let's open the gate of the dam that holds the possibilities, 30 language
versions of OOo, and release them to the world.
Why should 10 languages care about testing and 30 not?
Please don't get me wrong .. I agree to release "partially" tested
localizations. But I disagree to release localizations where we have no
feedback if any tests have happened ever.
