I wrote this in the issue: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=66590 and, IMO, my comment was taken slightly out of context. ;-) What I meant to say is that, *if* we were to go ahead and change this function to return a numeric value to indicate an error condition, I'd rather see it returning -1, instead of 0. But this alone is not at all an endorsement on my part. I still question whether or not we should change the behavior of the built-in function in question, without careful consideration to interoperability and backward compatibility of documents.
