Sure, I think that we have a lot of examples on the [Sqoop2 Intermediate
representation wiki

to sum it up:
* Datetime {{YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:DD\[.ZZZZZZ\]\[+/-XX\]}}
** '2014-02-02 14:12:12'
** '2014-02-02 14:12:12.123456'
** '2014-02-02 14:12:12.123456-02'
** '2014-02-02 14:12:12+02'
* Date {{YYYY-MM-DD\[+/-XX\]}}
** I suddenly don't see why we would have timezone for a date. Neither of the
explored tools need that and I don't think that it make much sense. I think
that it might be copy&paste error.
** '2014-02-02'
* TIME {{HH:MM:DD\[.ZZZZZZ\]\[+/-XX\]}}
** The same argument as before for date. I don't see a need for timezone
suddenly. Neither of the explored tools is using that and I think that it might
be a copy&paste error.
** '14:12:12'
** '14:12:12.123456'
* TIMESTAMP
** For representation perspective the same as DATETIME
They are all strings, so they should be enclosed in single quotes.
