I absolutely see your point, no doubt. I also really appreciate
the tidy and clear layout of the web site (at least the
non-bugzilla-part). mozilla.org has a similar straight layout.
This is, what attracts people. Good work!

The only thing that is really missing on the web site is a link
to the best resources on the web including all wikis etc. - but
this is now far off topic. :-))))


But I think you named the main problem somehow:

This is the main problem IMHO ... there is no real "proposal
system". It simply takes to long ... you have an idea, write a
proposal, try to find supporters, try to gain many votes (how? -
there is no voting mailing list and I can't read all issues in
BugZilla in order to identify the best), have to "raise" it to
upper levels, have to try to convince the project leader ... this
does not sound very promising.

I do not want to bother the mailing list members, so: Where could
this general issue of how good ideas have to be promoted can be
discussed?

This is really frustrating ... a little ... :-)))
