The process used by the website project IS seriously flawed. Ask Andrew Brown
who
has been here for a few years. It is impossible to get things done. The
opinions,
work, and contributions of people here are just completely ignored. What
usually
happens, it seems, is that someone higher up simply decides to kill a proposal
by
having it discussed to death. Eventually all the workers who designed it give
up in
frustration, and when there's no one left standing you can go on and do
whatever you
wnat. This is how the website project seems to work. This is flawed, and
severely
dysfunctional. It doesn't just happen with the home page design. It happens
when you
want to change a stupid image and after 18 months, the image is still there. It
happens when you want to update a few links, make some minor edits, and after a
couple of months, all your work is still sitting in IZ. It happens when you
write a
contribution page which is unquestionably superior to the present one, and it
still
sits in IZ for 6 months. This is not the sign of a healthy project. The process
really and truly is flawed.

Sincerely,
