Anytime you're IN a work environment like this that involves MANY people, this is what happens Daniel. I don't know what your current life experiences are, but, given my time here on earth, this has been my discovery.
My experiences, in over 40 years in the workforce, have been considerably more varied. What you describe is *not* the only possibility, and alternatives can -- and do -- work very well.
I am sad to think that your (and presumably others') negative experiences in the past have such a serious impact on a volunteer project such as this. I suggest it's now time to break free of those ideas and try a different approach.
